The Accounting Specialist works collaboratively with other members of the team and reports to the Finance Manager.
Performs moderately complex clerical assignments of an accounting nature such as analyzing accounts, records, reports, ledgers, and other accounting documents for accuracy and completeness.
Performs Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties.
Investigates questionable entries and initiates or takes corrective measures.
Assists in the preparation of various financial reports.
This position is on-site or can be hybrid.

*Specific duties in AP will include:*
* Enter invoices in QuickBooks Online with proper GL codes
* Create bills for select vendors in Bill.
com
* Prints checks/process payments in QBO and or Bill.
com
* Process expense reimbursement
* Management and administration of employer charitable giving fund
* Managing and administering of new client bonus program
* Secondary support to the Finance Manager
* Document scanning and photocopying
* Other responsibilities as needed
*Specific duties in AR will include:*
* Oversee Credit Control in Practice Engine
* Review and send out Duning Letters
* Follow up on old AR by working with managers in collections or directly contacting clients
* Cash Receipts posting in Practice Engine
* Miscellaneous Practice Engine clean up project
* Other responsibilities as needed
*The successful candidate will have:*
* High School diploma or equivalate required
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounts payable
* Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
* Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
* Experience and proficiency in QuickBooks (experience in QBO preferred)
* Demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks and in organizing and prioritizing work assignments and ongoing duties
* Ability to communicate effectively and timely in writing and verbally with colleagues, clients, and other external partners
* Strong technical skills to navigate financial software and tools effectively
* Eager to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
* Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment

Pay: $30.
