The Property Accountant is responsible for full-cycle accounting of all assigned communities.

Pay Details: $74.
2K - $79.
5K + bonus potential.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Job Responsibilities
Complete all job functions relating to assigned communities accurately, efficiently, and by the assigned deadlines.
Ensure monthly mortgage payments, journal entries, and deposits are made.
Post miscellaneous deposits as needed.
Write off uncollectible balances per company policy.
Reconcile monthly bank accounts and prepare monthly financials.
Complete daily fraud reviews.
Report, analyze, and interpret financial and operating data for management.
Assist with performing year-end audits and document requests for the auditors.
Review financial data for accuracy.
Identify problems and support day-to-day accounting operations.
Prepare and submit Replacement Reserve requests to various investors and lenders.
Input annual financial data for Table 4 reporting to the Washington State Housing Finance Commission WBARS website.
Report unclaimed property items to the Department of Revenue.
Maintain communication with assigned communities to answer questions and effectively resolve issues.
Complete assigned tasks by deadlines and communicate any obstacles with your supervisor in advance.
Participate in team meetings.
Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects as assigned.
Attend training classes as scheduled and assigned.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of property accounting experience.
Experience using Yardi Voyager.
Affordable housing and tax credit experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Successful completion of background check and drug screen required.
Must be legally qualified to work in the U.
S.
meeting I-9 guidelines.
