The GL Accountant is responsible for maintaining general ledger account reconciliations and subsidiary ledgers, accounts payable records, fixed asset schedules, daily bank reconciliations, tax filings, and year-end audit support.
Daily responsibilities include depositing and applying cash receipts, accounts payable invoice entry and payment of invoices, providing backup documentation for project accountants.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•General Ledger Accounting
Handles month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings.
Ensures monthly and quarterly journal entries are posted in accordance with GAAP.
Handles consolidation of inter-company transactions and reconciliations, including foreign currency accounting.
Assists in GL account review to identify and explain variances.
Reconciles balance sheet accounts.
Ensures monthly GL account reconciliations have auditable support.
•Account Payable
Assists Accounts Payable Manager
Process weekly check runs.
Validate AP transactions (Consultant & General) and enter into expense approval application (Chrome River).
Process ACH/Wire payments.
Export Chrome River expenses to Deltek as needed.
Provide AP primary backup support during PTO periods.
• Other Duties
Conducts daily banking and cash reconciliations.
Prepares cash deposits and wire transfers
Supports internal and external audits.
Assists with tax filings and bank reporting.
Interfaces with management and support staff of various teams.
Adhere to reporting deadlines.
Assist with Ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years related accounting experience
Degree in Accounting or related field.
Strong technical accounting background.

National Salary Ranges: $68,900 - $93,200
If position is eligible for remote status, ranges may be adjusted.
Acknowledging the time employees typically spend in the role, compensation is dependent on applicable years of experience and skillset.
