The Bellevue Club Business Office is in search of an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join the team.
Candidates must possess strong interpersonal communication skills as they will interact daily with all levels of the organization in a service-oriented, team-focused environment.
This is a full-time, in-office, exempt level position.

· A luxurious, recently remodeled hotel and cutting-edge fitness facility · Free parking and other great perks! *Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:* · Maintains all master payroll records and employee payroll files.
Ensures confidentiality of sensitive data and limits access to all payroll-related records.
· Manages payroll and time and attendance systems by entering daily updates and corrections.
Audits systems continuously to ensure accurate records.
Works in conjunction with the IT department to resolve technical problems with the systems.
· Monitors and reviews all timecards for completeness, accuracy, and proper approvals.
· Summarizes commissions for the Spa, Tennis, Fitness, Aquatics, and any other commissions as assigned.
Tracks charged tips, tip-outs, and service charges to be paid to employees.
· Prepares and transmits, in a timely fashion, bi-weekly payroll records to payroll service provider.
· Audits processed payroll checks and reports to ensure accurate records and payments.
This includes verification of dollars and labor hours in the labor distribution.
· Prepares and posts payroll journal entries on a bi-weekly basis.
Provides active assistance with payroll related items in Financial Statement preparation.
Assists with GL reconciliation of payroll related accounts.
· Prepares accurate Paid Time Off (PTO), Earned Illness Benefit (EIB), 401(k), and other accruals on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.
· Audits records periodically for proper home department classification, full and part time status, and other classifications as needed.
· Audits departmental labor hours daily and weekly against budgeted and standard hours; assists in overtime control by providing tools, training, and coaching to managers.
Responsible for producing and auditing daily labor report and weekly kitchen labor report.
· Collaborate with managers and HR to properly account for all payroll issues related to their staff.
· Develops and maintains training processes to train managers in the payroll function and time keeping.
Maintains current payroll manual.
*Education and/or Experience Requirements:* · AA certificate in accounting or business from college or technical school or five years accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Experience should include processing payroll on a computerized system.
