Our ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of Job Cost/Accounting tasks and work diligently under pressure.
This person will be comfortable working with a high volume of deliverables and deadlines and demonstrate an exceptional degree of attention to detail and accuracy.

Focus on General Contractor and owner billings, payment collection, and project compliance.
Review monthly Schedule of Values (SOV’s) for accuracy, preparing billing packages within deadlines.
Generate monthly substantiated cost packages, adhering to specific contract terms with supporting documentation.
Interpret contract language to fulfill applicable accounting requirements.
Track budgets, conduct internal cost postings, provide monthly projections and variances, and generate project reports.
Maintain high-efficiency and accuracy in data entry tasks.
Coordinate with internal and external project auditors.
Provide support to other corporate departments as needed.
Handle filing, scanning, and indexing tasks.
Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.
What You Will Need to be Successful Associates degree from two-year college or technical school in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and 2+ years related experience in Project Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Administration/Cash Collection or Job Cost Control; or equivalent combination of education and experience Solid understanding and experience in Job Cost Accounting, including Cost Control, Budgets, Projections, and Accounts Receivable Administration.
Experience within the Construction Industry (Electrical, General Contractor, etc.
) is a plus.
Knowledge of compliance matters such as Lien Releases, Vendor Affidavits, Payment Confirmations, etc.
Familiarity with Sales Tax, Use Tax, and Reseller permits.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to interface effectively at all levels.
Detail-oriented, customer-focused, exceptionally organized, with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and take initiative to provide support and follow-up.
Team player with experience working collaboratively.
Experience with Public Works Contracts (Intents/Affidavits, Certified payroll, etc.
) is a plus.
Experience with Viewpoint/Vista Accounting or related accounting software is a plus.
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel, are required.
Experience with Blue Beam REVU and Smartsheet is a plus.
