Empire Home Remodeling, a Woodinville-based design/build construction firm, is seeking an organized, experienced and energetic professional to fill the important role of Bookkeeper.
Applicant should be FULLY VERSED in QuickBooks The responsibilities include payroll, entering vendor and expense invoices, billing customers, payroll , tax related form submissions and other daily QuickBooks related entries.
*Bookkeeper Responsibilities:*
* Promptly enter all accounts payable for payments each Wednesday .
Complete payroll each Wednesday .
Bill Monday through Friday as need.

Be organized and detail oriented.
* Accounts Payable - Match receiving documents to invoices, enter in the accounting system and pay bills on time, and taking advantage of discounts when available.
* Accounts Receivable - Verify pricing and commission structure of invoices.
Enter invoices to the accounting system, receive payments and post to the system, watch aging of open accounts to ensure nothing ages past 45 days
* Experienced with company financials, P&L, balance sheet, budgeting, cash flow reports and forecasting
* Maintain our filing system
* Payroll - Verify timecard calculations, enter the payroll system, print checks, and prepare reports.
Must be well versed in payroll laws and requirements.
* Update and maintain office policies and procedures
* Maintain quarterly and annual state tax filings
* Manage employee benefits with the company president, ensuring records stay up to date
* Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, confidentiality, and applicable laws
*Skills:*
* Highly proficient with QuickBooks and process of invoice and bill generation, data entry, report generation, monthly and annual reconciliations, and audits
* Good understanding of information technologies, networks and data security
* Fundamental knowledge of GAAP.
* Must be knowledgeable of payroll laws and requirements.
* Knowledge of office management systems and GAAP
* Working knowledge of office equipment, printers and scanners
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
* Experience with Buildertrend a plus.
* Experience with "Go to My PC " for remote work is a plus.
*Hours and Salary*
* The hours for this position are Monday - Friday remotely as needed.
Wednesday Mandatory office time.
* Hourly rate: $30.
00-$35.
00 depending on experience, knowledge, and skills demonstrated.
