Do you enjoy taxes? Are you looking for a new opportunity? The Krusteaz Company is looking for a new Senior Corporate/Tax Accountant! The Senior Corporate/Tax Accountant is responsible for managing tax filings, completing complex month-end tasks and reporting, and supporting annual audit activities.
Additionally, this position is responsible to be an expert resource on the company enterprise accounting system and processes for the accounting department and other related functional areas.
This position will help to ensure the financial transactions, policies and procedures meet the organization objectives, needs, and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time.
Lead the process of preparing state and federal income tax returns.
Lead the process of preparing multi-state sales and use returns and other tax reporting.
Compile and provide tax advisors with all materials needed to ensure timely filing of federal tax returns.
Provide necessary tax related reporting for annual audit, including state and federal tax provisions.
Help coordinate and perform monthly and annual activities by preparing and analyzing accounting transactions and financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Prepare the monthly and annual financial packages for internal and external reporting needs.
Actively support and participate in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting and internal control policies and procedures to ensure an effective system of internal controls.
Develop in-depth knowledge of enterprise accounting system and function as a high-level user in the department.
Provide functional advice and training to less-experienced accountant positions.
Lead the interim and annual audit processes.
Recommend and implement improvements to existing work processes and procedures.
impacting monthly and quarterly financial close.
Participate in other projects as needed to support the goals of the department and team.

Advanced Excel & Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, or equivalent experience/training.
5+ years of progressive professional general accounting experience, including preparation of financial statements.
5+ years of tax experience, including sales and use tax, property tax, and federal tax returns.
3+ years of ERP Experience, preferably Oracle Fusion.
Proven leadership experience in a growing organization.
Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred.
Prior manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone along with reaching.
Specific vision abilities include close vision requirements due to computer work.
Moderate noise, ability to work in a confined area, and ability to sit at a computer for an extended period of time are also included.
Ability to effectively communicate and work in a dynamic environment.

Salary Information: An employee in this position can expect a salary range between $88,131 and $145,408.
We typically pay between $99,000 and $126,000.
The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, certification, training, and location.
All positions are eligible for additional incentives based on business performance.
