Lincoln Moving & Storage, an established, family owned and operated Moving and Storage Company with locations in multiple states is currently hiring for the following position:
Accounts Payable Specialist
*Essential Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):*
* Match invoices and purchase orders with correct keying and GL Coding in a high volume environment.
* Process vendor invoices for approval and payment.
* Investigate and resolve vendor issues on behalf of the company.
* Reconcile monthly vendor statements and perform monthly audits on job purchases.
* Maintain W9s, Certificates of Insurance from sub-tier contractors, and process annual 1099 reporting.
* Assure all invoices reflect proper state sales tax in accordance with multi-state rules.
* Generate schedules for annual financial statement audit.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications*
* A minimum of 1 years accounting experience in a fast paced team environment
* Preferably 2 years experience with accounts payable
* Experience with bill.

* Understanding principles and best practices of general accounting.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
* A strong attention to detail and the ability to complete job duties with a high degree of accuracy.
* Excellent customer service skills required.
Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills including the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.
* Ability and understanding of the use of a personal computer and appropriate software, including but not limited to: Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Preferably knowledge of Great Plains software or other large accounting software/
* Must be able to work as part of a team with peers and leadership within the organization.
*Working Conditions:*
* Working environment consists of an office work space which is conditioned but may encounter various degrees of heat, light, noise and dust.
* Must be able to sit and work within office environment for majority of the work day.
May infrequently lift up to 20 pounds.
Will need to reach and bend in order to access files with reasonable accommodation.
* Must have the manual dexterity to use a computer keyboard, calculator and phone.
