About the Role: The business banking relationship manager develops, advises, manages, and retains client relationships and solicits new business relationships with a focus on profitability.
This is a sales- and solutions-focused position that is an integral part of the overall branch team.
Find new client relationships and grow current client relationships.
Develop internal business partner relationships in order to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients from all areas of the bank.
Work productively with the SBLC.
Advise clients on financial solutions and strategies.
Manage and review client relationships to meet changing client needs.
Be aware of the banking industry and industry-specific trends.
Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge, understanding, and development of commercial banking financial solutions: Complex credit structures and solutions.
Cross-sell (become a trusted advisor for the client).
Recognize cross-sell and revenue generating opportunities.
Engage in community relationships and activities for business development.
Strong contributor to the branch team meeting annual goals, including participation in branch team meetings, marketing meetings, and joint calls with the branch manager.
Broad knowledge in other banking services offered by other lines of business to identify and offer qualified referrals.
Other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
About You: Five years of business banking experience or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or other appropriate area or equivalent work experience, preferred.
Highly proficient in building client and business partner relationships.
Handle complex relationships.
Proficient business development and sales skills.
Ability to manage existing portfolio.
Consultative selling skills and approach.
Proactive.
Deep knowledge of credit structures.
Well-developed credit skills and acumen.
Well-developed underwriting skills.
In-depth understanding of personal and business financial statements and tax returns.

Our Benefits: We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits.
The pay range for this role is $93,000.
00 to $160,000.
00 and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
