*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a talented Sr.
Accountant to join our dynamic team.
The Sr.
Accountant will be responsible for accounting operations and maintaining financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills.
*Duties/Responsibilities:*
· _Prepare monthly financial statements by maintaining the general ledger, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
_
· _Perform technical accounting research and documentation of findings.
_
· _Pursue opportunities for improvement in accounting processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
_
· _Create and submit invoices to customers on a timely basis and send reminders for past due invoices.
_
· _Prepare and post customer payments by recording check and wire transfers transactions.
_
· _Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
_
· _Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
_
· _Process employee payroll using software application, research and resolve payroll discrepancies, and reconcile payroll accounts.
_
· _Assist with preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings.
_
· _Participate in special projects as needed, such as system implementation or process improvements.
_
*Required Skills/Abilities: *
· _Proficiency in using Quickbooks and MS Office.
_
· _Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting operations.
_
· _Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
_
· _Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
_
· _Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
_
*Preferred Skills/Abilities: *
· _Four or more years of experience in accounting role in software industry.
_
· _CPA or CMA preferred.
_
· _Experience with budgeting and forecasting modelling.
_
*Education and Experience:*
_Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
_
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $86,000.
00 - $92,000.
