The Controller will be responsible for playing a key role in meticulously managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance.

The ideal candidate should be well-versed in US GAAP accounting and reporting, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be adept at supporting and potentially spearheading ongoing process and policy enhancement initiatives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain a deep understanding of our business and culture, as well as the healthcare staffing industry to provide strategic recommendations to leaders and teams members.
Oversee and manage financial activities, including payroll, billing, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and stay updated on accounting standards and regulations.
Utilize 8-15 years of experience with increasing responsibilities to contribute to the financial strategy and success of NuWest Group.
Comply with audits and maintain a strong understanding of audit procedures.
Public Accounting experience is highly desired.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial initiatives and support the overall growth of the company.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
8-15 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management.
Demonstrated expertise with systems integrations and data flow to enhance financial processes.
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and compliance.
Experience with high volume payroll, billing, and accounts receivable.
Healthcare staffing experience preferred.
Knowledge of state and local tax issues, insurance, and risk mitigation.
Banking and cash management experience a plus.
Compensation:
Salary: $80,000-$120,000/year
