Honda and Toyota of Seattle are looking for a Payroll Administrator!
We are seeking a full-time Payroll Administrator to join our team in Seattle, WA.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities include:
Payroll:
Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll and utilize internal systems to process new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, commissions, rate changes, and pay adjustments.
Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks.
Act as the primary contact for all employee and manager inquiries related to payroll.
Manage and update PTO.
Prepare and distribute W-2s.
Submit and file all State and Federal payroll taxes.
Produce reports to upper management upon request.
Perform other projects as assigned.
Human Resources:
Create overtime reports.
Manage monthly birthday, anniversary, and welcome cards.
Handle employment verifications.
Perform other projects as assigned.
Work directly with HR Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a payroll specialist or similar role.
Familiarity with payroll processes.
Working knowledge of payroll systems.
Exhibits tact and proper judgment under pressure and in sensitive situations.
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word Outlook, and other applicable computer software.
An analytical mind with good math skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail is imperative.
Exceptional work ethic and positive team attitude.
