What You’ll Do We are made up of 3 Regions which consist of 10 subsidiaries across 8 countries.
You’ll report into the Global Head of Finance who is located in New Zealand.
You’ll lead a small team who are based in New Zealand, Australia and North America and your stakeholders will be in these countries as well as Australia, Singapore, Sweden, the UK & Ireland.
Our HQ is located in Seattle, Washington, so we'd like someone who is based on the West Coast.
This is to ensure you can visit the office when needed but it also provides greater international overlap with your team members in Asia Pacific.
We are very flexible with when and where you work your hours and hybrid working but we'd like someone based in Seattle to be able to go to the office regularly.
Responsible for month end, year end activities and statutory financial statement preparation Management of the global accounting team providing guidance and support through regular 121s, on the job support and career development plans.
Responsible for payroll, oversight of AP and AR, fixed assets register, taxes, and account reconciliations Ensure that financial reporting is accurate, timely and in compliance with company policies, and applicable tax reporting requirements Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements Manage financial and non-financial metrics and ensure key metrics are within the target range Own and lead the execution of the Group audit.
This includes working with the external auditors, our debt holding bank and the PSC team to ensure all requirements are being met.
Manage global cash flow to ensure that each PSC entity always has enough cash available to meet operating needs.
Own and lead tax compliance to ensure that PSC Group is compliant with tax and regulatory requirements in all countries that we operate in.
Work with business leaders, providing financial analysis where appropriate, to ensure that financial and commercial risk is being appropriately managed on our customer projects and other business areas as needed.

We need you to always do the right thing, have the courage to be vulnerable and to own and drive this role! At least 10 years’ experience in accounting roles with progressive responsibility over time Experience within a complex organization or group structure.
It is complexity of business over size of business that we are looking for.
Around 5 years’ experience leading a global team across multiple time zones, including experience mentoring and developing people Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and demonstrated abilities in leadership, planning, communication.
Ability to analyze and present complex data and make informed decisions and to communicate complex information clearly.
Legally authorized to work in the USA.
Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance or CPA preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standard Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and financial management software (e.
g.
, NetSuite).

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At PSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $167,269 to $234,177.
