Atomic seeks a dynamic and forward-thinking candidate for the position of Full Charge Bookkeeper.
The role will involve the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, payroll, financials, expenses, payables, and receivables.
The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, process-driven, and familiar with accounting principles and best practices.
We’re looking for someone who uses a ‘work smarter not harder’ approach, utilizing the best software and automation techniques when possible.
*Primary Responsibilities*
* Process and manage payables / AP
* Process and manage receivables / AR
* Process payroll
* Process FICA withholding payments and state B&O tax payments
* Track and manage project expenses
* Generate project-based P&L
* Prepare and process invoices
* Track project budgets
* Process and manage expense reports
* Track equipment purchases
* Benefits coordination (onboarding/offboarding, etc.
)
* Assign general ledger account coding to ensure adherence to departmental budget, generally accepted accounting principles, and Company policies
* Manage Independent Contractor onboarding/agreements (NDAs, W9s, UBI & Insurance)
* Insurance COI requests: track vendor COIs and request COIs on behalf of clients & venues
* Review invoices and payment requests for proper approval and documentation
* Team Travel management/approvals

* Experiencing managing GL
* Intermediate/advanced experience with Quickbooks Online
* Intermediate/advanced experience with the Google Sheets/ Excel
* Strong written, verbal, and online communication
* Demonstrated personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and organizationally savvy
* Automation-first approach–creating workflows that don’t create more work
* Ability to analyze, review, and verify the accuracy of data and to identify and research outliers
* Problem solver
* Ability to deliver clear and accurate reports for information, auditing, and management use
* Excellent interpersonal skills: with a high degree of comfort for effective collaboration to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
* Familiar with basic payroll processes

* Familiarity with Expensify, Navan, Zenefits
* Comfort with data migration and automation.

* Experience in the production/broadcast media industry
* Familiar with automation tools like Zapier
