This hybrid position will be a combination of remote and onsite at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle, WA.
Our hybrid work environment includes remote on Monday and Friday and in the Support Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Key Responsibilities: Ensures consolidated financial statements comply with US GAAP and/or statutory requirements Oversees and/or conducts adaption of new accounting guidelines including leases and revenue recognition Documents procedures and conduct periodic reviews for indicators of impairment for fixed assets, investments and intangibles, review valuation of inventory and other assets including accounts receivable Manages the close continuous improvement process by establishing and communicating deadlines, proactively identifying and resolving know issues, leading postmortem reviews to identify and resolve bottlenecks and prioritize areas for improvement Manages and maintains Blackline and the balance sheet reconciliation process including monthly performance report on reconcilers Reviews critical accounts including CIP, bad debt, inventory valuation provisions, trade promotion and freight accruals.
Creates and manages a communication process with auditors, appointing liaisons within the financial reporting group to monitor subsidiaries, sharing expectations, and acting proactively and cooperatively with subsidiaries and business units to identify and resolve any issues that may reporting and/or close deadlines.
Prepares monthly, quarterly and monthly consolidated financial statements Maintains internal “scoresheet” of unadjusted audit differences and know deviations from GAAP.
Records adjustments as necessary.
Gatekeeper of General Ledger (G/L): Establishes and maintains an approval process for all G/L changes, new accounts, business units, entities with appropriate segregation of duties Manages the development of team members.
Removes roadblocks, pushes communications, encourages, and assesses performance.
Embraces problem-solving as a learning experience.
Minimum Requirements Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of corporate accounting experience Minimum of 2 years of people management experience Public accounting experience Experience working in SAP, or equivalent, ERP system Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field CPA Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in accounting or related field SAP S/4 HANA experience Ability to develop and automate processes Strong ability to partner, consult and influence multiple stakeholder groups Excellent planning and project management skills Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills Ability to effectively implement changes in a large, global organization Highly organized and technically adept Professional demeanor and excellent conflict resolution skills This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $140,000 to $180,000.
