Joseph Parish is a vibrant Jesuit parish in Seattle, that strives to form parishioners in Ignatian Spirituality, especially building a community of faith that seeks justice.
We are looking for a friendly, and collaborative person with excellent customer service skills to serve as Administrative Assistant.
This person will greet and refer people reaching out to the parish by phone, email or in person, provide administrative and bookkeeping services in support of the parish and its activities.
This is a benefitted, non-exempt position based on 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Active member of a Catholic faith community
Strong interpersonal skills and desire to serve people who contact the parish
Ability to take initiative, work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Maintain strict confidentiality with regards to any work/parish related issues
Excellent computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Quickbooks
At least one year bookkeeping experience preferred
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
