Come join us and make the impossible, possible! Overview: As a Senior Accountant at Wyze, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and reporting.
Join our finance team and contribute to the success of a rapidly growing company in the smart home technology industry.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.
*Responsibilities:* * Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with accounting principles.
Generate accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Implement and maintain robust accounting controls.
* Month-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliation.
Muti-entity consolidations * Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Provide insights into financial trends and variances to support decision-making.
* Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
Prepare audit schedules and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
* Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations.
Streamline accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategic planning.
Provide insights into key financial metrics and performance indicators.
*Qualifications:* * Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification is a plus.
* Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
* Team Collaboration: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
* Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Willingness to take on new challenges and learn continuously.
