Finance and Accounting Central Team (FACT) is looking for the next Finance Manager.
As part of the FACT Team you will join a team that is passionate about about using data to solve big, complex and ambiguous problems, generating insights to tell the business story and ultimately driving the flywheel for our customers.
We support and influence the organization by providing a holistic and financial perspective, we are the trusted business advisors/partners.
We collaborate with our partners to ensure leaders have the most up to date and reliable information, and work with them to make sure we are making the best possible decisions.
This candidate must have with a strong finance and accounting skill-set coupled with sound business judgement and effective communication to all levels of the organization.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential to this role.
The ability to think and act quickly under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities effectively is a must.
A proven track record of superior financial and strategic analysis and developing/delivering recommendations based on this analysis is a essential requirement for this role.
Key job responsibilities - Oversee planning (3YF, OP1, OP2, and R&O’s) and financial reporting processes for your business area.
Provide insightful financial reporting and appropriate commentary to senior leadership on a monthly and quarterly basis utilizing financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel functions to work with large data sets - Understand how data flows through our financial platforms and know the right data to use for analysis understanding input drivers and validate integrity of the data to influence strategic decision-making and planning by using data to provide advice and/or disruptive ideas - Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon.
These decisions can have global impact - Simplify and centralize process improvement and reporting to allow business partners and customers to take action quickly - reate effective business partnership, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events - Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting your style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues that enables informed decision-making - Have backbone, disagree and commit to effectively lean in, foster constructive dialogues, harmonize conflicting views, and lead the resolution of issues and/or decisions About the team FACT currently owns forecasting, benchmarking, month end close, and associated FP&A reporting and consolidation for NACF.
The team is working to improve standardization, visibility and communication to drive results.
As part of this team, you will use data from a variety of sources, build accurate predictive models, support analysis and scenario planning, and deploy automated software solutions to provide forecasting insights to senior leadership driving decisions that affect millions of customers globally.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
