We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of our accounting department.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing a team of accountants, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and proven leadership skills.
What you will be doing
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information in compliance with GAAP.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Oversee day-to-day activities of the accounting department, including accounts payable and general ledger functions.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and address audit findings.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) (IFRS or US GAAP) and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Navision or similar software is a plus.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Travel as needed

Base pay will depend on the position, individual qualifications, market, and other operational business needs.
