We are hiring an Administrative Assistant to two of our Tax Partners and assisting the tax team.
This position does not qualify for remote work, is full time, overtime and Saturdays required for tax Individual and Business tax dealines.
Pay: $18.
00 - $25.
00 per hour.
Must have Tax Processing experience:
Printing client tax returns from PFX or other tax software
Sending tax returns to clients for signature and filing
E-Filing
Preparing engagement letters & tax organizers
Scanning client tax documents
Work overtime and weekends during deadlines
Assist with all other tax team needs
Assist all HJS staff with administrative tasks like:
Keep the office organized, order supplies, and liaison with building management and other vendors
Prepare mail, handle deliveries and special shipments
Setup new clients in all applicable programs, creating projects to track progress
Responsible to help organize office parties and staff meetings
Other projects and duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school diploma/GED or higher.
Secondary education preferred
Minimum of three years’ experience in similar position, accounting firm a plus
Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
Experience with CCH ProSystem fx Tax, Suralink, CCH, and Axcess a plus
Professional oral and written communication skills
Must have reliable form of transportation
Positive personality, flexible to last minute changes, self-starter, and detail oriented
Excellent time management and organization skills
The successful person for this job will work in a professional, fast-paced environment with multiple projects and frequent last-minute changes.
Must be comfortable with multi-tasking and working with all firm staff to achieve a high-level of client service and to meet firm objectives.
Attention to detail should be a natural and enjoyable personality trait for the successful candidate.
Flexibility in terms of timing, process and prioritization of the ongoing workloads are a must.
