As an Entry Level Cost Accountant at Westward Seafoods, you will play a crucial role in our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports and associated transactions.
Create accruals for payroll, raw product costs, sales costs, overhead, and fees.
Assist in the timely and accurate submission of various reports.
Ensure the prompt and accurate completion of monthly closing activities.
Collaborate with our Alaska plants to ensure timely and accurate source documentation preparation.
Interface with external auditors when necessary.
Maintain Bills of Materials and cost information in our systems.
Post journal entries as required.
Contribute to special projects as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
0-2 years of cost accounting experience.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Progress towards or possession of a CMA Certification is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and analysis purposes.
