*General Ledger Accountant* We are looking for an Accountant that enjoys to focus on the details.
The General Ledger Accountant’s responsibilities include reconciliations, calculating tax payments, entering journal entries and filing business returns.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous general ledger experience and the willingness to accept new projects.
Ultimately, you will provide confidential information on our daily financial transactions and ensure that we’re compliant with state tax regulations.
*Responsibilities* · Review daily accounting transactions · Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual closings · Reconcile bank accounts and various GL accounts · Ensure timely bank deposits and credit card processing · Compute business taxes and file online returns · Audit financial transactions at each branch and report irregularities · Reinforce financial data confidentiality Crosstrain on processing accounts receivable and payable · Comply with internal financial policies and procedures *Skills* · Work experience as a GL Accountant Experience with state business tax reporting · Hands-on experience with accounting software Quicken or QuickBooks · Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables · Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills · BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree desired Work Remotely * No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.
