StockCharts is currently looking for an experienced, Full-Charge Bookkeeper.
Your primary responsibility will be managing the day-to-day accounting activities for the company.
You will collaborate with our Controller and Tax Accountants to help prepare financial reports, analyze results, manage invoices and tax payments, and verify the compatibility with legal regulations.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of an associate degree in accounting and a knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
You should also be familiar with QuickBooks Online and have strong Excel skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage financial transactions and oversee posting procedures daily.
Handle and process all AR/AP transactions.
Reconcile monthly bank statements and fees.
Organize and maintain accounts receivable/payable and payroll procedures.
Oversee the correctness of transaction records, vendors ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
Manage the books and provide them to senior management when needed.
Coordinate with Controller and CPA regarding month-end closing and tax reports and filings.
Store and maintain all bookkeeping data.
Create and manage reports and financial statements as requested.
Skills and requirements are:
5+ years' experience working in a full-charge bookkeeper position.
Excellent knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable practices (GAAP)
Proficient with calculating, posting, and managing accounting figures and financial records.
Strong data entry and numeric skills
Proficient in QuickBooks Online
Highly proficient with spreadsheets and related corporate software
Excellent English and good knowledge of MS Office
Strong communication skills
Accuracy, reliability, organization, and strong attention to detail
HS Diploma required.
AS or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
