POSITION SUMMARY: Our Redmond-based client is looking for an Accountant a remote based position.
Responsibilities: Develops, implements and/or maintains one or a combination of many general accounting systems.
Generates reports from financial systems and may provide analysis on reports.
May maintain receipts and disbursement reports.
May prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
Assists with forecast and budget preparation.
Communicates financial results and recommendations to operations and finance.
Monitors the efficiency and accuracy of existing financial processes.
Automates and improves existing reports, reporting tools and financial processes.
Qualifications: Must have 5-7 years of experience.
Minimum 5-7 years' experience with fixed assets.
Minimum 5-7 years' experience with Cost accounting.
Minimum 5-7 years' experience with supply chain.
May require work experience and/or special knowledge in relevant area.
Knowledge of SAP preferred; Microsoft products knowledge with intermediate to advanced level Excel required.
Ability to navigate multiple computer applications unique to the position.
Strong customer service skills; ability to effectively work with internal/external clients.
Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to manage a large volume of information in a fast paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
