Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for supporting the business relationships with various vendors.
This includes invoice processing, exception handling, account reconciliations, applying manual payments, preparing payment proposals, and internal/external communication.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Process daily accounts payable invoices and maintain vendor files.
Ensure payment to vendors is in accordance with terms and take advantage of prompt pay discounts.
Processes PO and Non-Po invoices.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Review and verify invoices and check requests.
Updating exception invoices to ensure they get processed properly.
Sort, code, and match invoices.
Prepare and process weekly payments proposal within Great Plains.
Maintain vendor database.
When required, communicate to internal/external using a variety of methods including personal emails, shared email mailboxes, phones, and Microsoft Teams.
Ability to perform repetitive data entry in a high-volume environment.
Assist with filling and checking documents related to payments.
Adhere to strict department deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrate basic understanding and ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentage, and apply them to practical situations.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work in high volume environment with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED
Previous experience in accounts payable
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and TEAMs
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Great Plains
Working knowledge of general bookkeeping or accounting practices
One or more years of Accounting/Finance related experience
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay: 45,000 to 70,000
