*Position Overview: *We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our financial operations and contribute to our company's financial health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of all accounting and financial activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial information, compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support company growth.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Financial Management:*
-Oversee all financial and accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
-Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
-Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
*Financial Reporting:*
-Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
-Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
-Research technical accounting issues as needed.
*Budgeting and Forecasting:*
-Assist in the formulation of the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives.
-Coordinate the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts.
-Implement a robust financial management/reporting system.
*Compliance:*
-Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
-Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
*Leadership:*
-Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
-Support month-end and year-end close processes.
-Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring professional development and workflow efficiency.
*Strategic Analysis:*
-Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management.
-Evaluate and advise on investments and financial strategies for growth or cost reduction opportunities.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A Master’s degree or professional qualifications such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 of experience in a senior finance role.
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and experience in financial risk management.
* Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a sharp attention to detail.
* Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $185,000.
00 - $205,000.
