GeoComply seeks a Senior Accountant (Corporate) to be a key member of the Accounting team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting (Corporate).

Key Responsibilities Generate internal management reports for the Company’s North American operations, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with US GAAP; Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for presentation to the senior leadership team; Execute core accounting responsibilities, including posting journal entries, reconciliations of accounts, analysis etc.
; Collaborate cross-functionally to capture month-end accruals; Review working papers and approve journal entries prepared by junior staff during month-end closing; Review third-party vendor contracts to identify any accounting issues; Liaise with FP&A on forecast variances and perform variance analysis as required; Compile documentation for external audits, including responding to auditor inquiries and requests; Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency; Mentor and train junior staff members as needed; Support of ad-hoc requests and leadership of new workstreams as needed.
Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent CPA designation or equivalent qualification in good standing 2+ years of accounting experience in a senior accounting role Bonus Points Big 4 Accounting Firm experience who has worked on public companies engagements Familiar with Netsuite or similar ERP system The typical salary range for this position is from $96,000 - $125,000 annually.
The base pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors including, your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
