Moss Adams is currently seeking a Government Internal Audit Intern for 2024.
Our interns gain knowledge of the firm's Consulting practices through working with multiple clients across a variety of industries.
As a Government Internal Audit Intern, you will work on a variety of internal audit and consulting projects, primarily for government, tribal and not-for-profit clients.
Types of projects will vary and may include internal controls reviews and testing, policy and procedure drafting, and performance audits.
Interns will perform a variety of tasks including conducting data analysis, performing detailed internal audit testing, supporting client interviews, developing templates and resources, drafting initial policies, procedures, and process documentation.

Required Qualifications: Must have completed or be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, Master of Accountancy or Master of Business Administration preferred If an accounting major: Meeting educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon full-time Staff hire in the state of employment, preferred Eligible candidates must have academic courses remaining at the end of the internship; Candidates in year three of a 4-year degree program, or in year four of a 5-year program, preferred Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
