Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Accounting Associate is completion of day-to-day financial data entry and processing for the finance department.
Additionally, the Accounting Associate will assist the Controller with various financial and operational reports, projects, and ad hoc requests.
To ensure the financial success of the business, the Accounting Associate must always perform their duties with integrity and attention to detail while strictly adhering to all accounting policies and procedures.
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $27.
00 to $30.
00, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).

Job Responsibilities
Execute all daily operations of the finance department, including but not limited to:
Payroll input and processing
AP invoice processing and reconciliation of vendor accounts
Sales reconciliation and entry
Handle the weekly revenue and labor reporting process
Support the month end inventory reconciliation process
Assist Controller in the monthly financial close process
Special projects and ad hoc reporting as assigned

Qualifications
Associates Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related field preferred; or equivalent experience
Previous experience with payroll processing, AP entry, and/or sales reconciliation preferred
Previous experience with inventory management systems a plus
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Background check required
Education
Associates preferred
Minimum 1-2 years experience
