Job Description
We have an opportunity available for a highly motivated, customer obsessed, and results oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance organization supporting the Nordstrom Merchandising Group.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for building financial models to support long-term planning, providing insightful reporting on key drivers of business performance, and maintaining effective business partner relationships.
NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area.
You must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 3 days/week in order to be considered for this position.
A day in the life…
Lead processes for supporting activities and analysis related to long term planning objectives and marketplace evolution
Use a variety of data sources and KPIs to enhance and build detailed financial models to support long term financial plans with an understanding of owned and unowned business dynamics
Partner with multiple cross-functional teams in planning and analyzing the business to drive action and improve outcomes
Create reporting tools, financial models, and/or scenario plans that provide insight into past performance and future trends
Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned, synthesize, and clearly communicate findings to support leadership-level decisions
You own this if you have…
3+ years of related experience
BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance, with a strong sense of curiosity
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines
Excellent computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Anaplan and Tableau a plus
Ability to independently develop processes and deliverables from general direction
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws.
Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $80,000-$132,000 annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
