Assurance Advisor, Digital Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1474783), Ernst & Young U.

Provide advice on climate change and sustainability services to help clients understand and manage their climate change issues related to new regulatory requirements, rising stakeholder concerns and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue generation.
Advise clients on technical sustainability reporting and advisory capabilities.
Collaborate with team and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations.
Communicate clients’ needs and expectations to the engagement team.
Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service.
Manage performance and identify opportunities to improve our products and processes.
Communicate creative and strategic goals both internally and externally.
Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.
Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field and 4 years of work experience.
Must have 4 years of experience in Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Accountability, ISO 14064, or Enablon.
Must have 4 years of experience with enablement of Enablon, SAP or ERP software for large complex organizations.
Must have 4 years of experience implementing software to track EHS and climate change initiatives for clients.
Must have 4 years of experience with cost estimating procedures regarding site investigation and remedial matters.
Must have 4 years of experience with environmental regulations (CERCLA, RCRA or similar).
Must have 4 years of experience with safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
Must have 4 years of experience with environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting landscape and business drivers.
Must have 4 years of project management experience.
Must have 4 years of experience supervising a team of at least 4 team members.
Must have certification/accreditation in CSSGB (Certified Six Sigma Green Belt); GHG Verifier (Greenhouse Gas Emissions Verification issued by CARB); ISSP-CSP (International Society of Sustainability Professionals-Certified Sustainability Professional); ISSP-SA (International Society of Sustainability Professionals-Sustainability Associate); LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design); PE (Professional Engineer); PMP (Project Management Professional); Global Reporting (GRI); Green building (LEED); Green House Gas (GHG); Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or sufficient coursework/experience requirements to obtain certification within one year of hire.
Requires travel up to 40%, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.
