We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join Mithun.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the monthly close process and ensure strong accounting policies and internal controls across the organization.
We collaborate in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Mondays and Fridays are flexible workdays that allow employees to work in the office or from home.

Role & Responsibilities
Assist with preparation of monthly GAAP based financial statements.
Prepare reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet accounts.
Prepare monthly journal entries and update supporting workpapers.
Oversee fixed asset accounting and prepare monthly depreciation entries.
Provide monthly reporting including project profitability and utilization.
Submit annual State and Local tax filings.
Provide support to Operations, Marketing and Design teams on reporting requests as needed.
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in policies and procedures.
Requirements
3-7 Years progressive experience in accounting.
CPA a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business.
Detail oriented.
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
Strong Excell skills.
Experience in Deltek Vantagepoint a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The expected range of compensation for this role is $80,000 to $100,000K per year.
