In this role you will contribute to Starbucks’ success by designing, developing, implementing, and administering a diverse range of payroll tax programs for Starbucks partners.
As a payroll tax system analyst, you will…
· Develop and manage processes, systems and tools to administer Starbucks payroll tax programs, including analyzing current processes, tools and systems and making recommendations for development, improvement or simplification.
· Gather, research and document business requirements to address break fixes, legal compliance and program design changes required to be implemented into both internal/external systems and processes.
Test that Payroll Tax systems are configured and functioning in accordance with business requirements.
· Assist in auditing programs to ensure compliance with governing laws and regulations.
Monitors appropriate record retention policies.
We’d love to hear from people with:
· Technical knowledge of Payroll Tax functions, laws, and regulations
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
· Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work independently
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially excel)
· Ability to convey complicated information in a logical manner
· Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed.
