This is an on-site role working in Tukwila, WA.

com/ What you will be doing: As the Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and analyzing all financial aspects related to Sabey's construction projects and capital requests.
Collaborating closely with the construction team and operations managers, you will create, monitor, and approve budgets, track capital expenditures, and forecast expenses across various campuses.
Your focus will be on ensuring cost-effectiveness and competitiveness in the industry through internal and external benchmarking, managing long lead requests, and assessing major expenditure requests.
Your time will be spent becoming a subject matter expert in data center construction, collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial information, analyzing and evaluating project budgets, identifying cost drivers and areas for optimization, and managing monthly budget vs.
actual capex variance analyses.
You will keep teams informed on project financial performance, monitor project schedules and milestones, and develop accurate forecasts for capital expenditures.
Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining comprehensive records of all construction-related capital expenditures, ensuring proper allocation and categorization of expenses The anticipated yearly salary range for this position is $67,949 - $101,923.
How you will be spending your time: Identifying any deviations from the planned timeline and assessing their financial impact.
Developing accurate and detailed forecasts for capital expenditures by project and campus.
Assisting in long-term financial planning by providing insights into future construction-related expenses.
Collaborating with operations managers to create and refine project budgets.
Conducting benchmarking studies to assess the competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of construction projects.
Comparing internal financial metrics with industry benchmarks and best practices.
Working with project teams to identify and manage long lead requests for materials and equipment and ensure that long lead items are ordered in a timely manner.
Reviewing and evaluating major expenditure requests to ensure they align with project budgets and corporate financial guidelines.
Essential Functions: Ability to interface with technology and operate a computer.
Ability to interact with all levels of Sabey employees, communicate effectively, and maintain professional relationships.
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a directly related field.
2+ years of experience in a financial analyst position or a similar role preferred.
Proven experience in financial analysis, budget management, or construction finance.
Familiarity with construction industry practices and terminology is a plus Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data center construction.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to identify financial discrepancies.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling, required.
