Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member in our AWS Sales & Marketing FP&A team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our fastest growing business division within Amazon.
As a Financial Analyst, you will work closely with finance leaders to develop financial models and analytical insights to assist in evaluating new business concepts, turning insights into operational measurements, and identifying paths to improve overall planning and forecasting process.
Primary responsibilities include:
Create, improve, and maintain financial metrics, reports and scorecards used for consolidation reports.
Collect, analyze and manage quantitative data to create meaningful analyses and models that drive business decisions.
Lead processes to facilitate consolidation process and reports.
Partner with finance technology partners to streamline reporting infrastructure and automation.

Seattle, WA, USA
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- Six Sigma Black Belt

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
