Office Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper (Seattle)
Immediate opening for a permanent office manager/ full charge bookkeeper to serve a leading supplier in the maritime industry in South Seattle.
Hours: We offer commute positive hours of Monday – Friday (0600-1430 or 0700-1530)
Summary of Job Description:
Under the direction of the President, this position is responsible for performing a variety of bookkeeping and administrative duties listed below on a full-time basis.
Desired individual will have advanced experience with Quick Books Premier or Enterprise, experience working with inventory and costing, and outgoing and friendly personality, and demonstrate professionalism and clarity in communication.
This position offers the opportunity for job costing and inventory management along with AR, AP, and payroll.
Also desired is an individual who will take charge of the processes and lead the way to best practice implementation and documentation.

Compensation: DOE, Medical, 401K
Qualifications:
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks
• Maritime industry or industrial parts experience a plus
• Associates degree (AA/AS) or equivalent; three to five years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills” ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good judgment, with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Understanding of and commitment to our organization’s customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Processes payroll twice monthly.
• WAWF Government Invoicing.
• Performs ongoing invoicing to customers for parts and service.
• Fob costing and analysis of new business.
• Cash flow management (forecasting and budgeting)
• AP and AR processed in a timely manner, ensuring appropriate coding.
• Reconcile bank accounts and provides reports to the President weekly.
• Proactively maintains a highly organized filing system.
• Lead in the development and implementation of administrative systems and procedures, particularly inventory control.
• Performs the duties as assigned by President.
