We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Touring Production Controller to join our team for an exciting contract-based project based in Macau, SAR.
This position offers the unique opportunity to blend financial expertise with the thrilling world of live entertainment, ensuring the financial health of our productions.
Role Summary:
As a Touring Production Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our upcoming production during its pre-opening phase.
This includes managing invoice and expense reconciliation, preparing comprehensive financial statements, and serving as the key liaison between the show's production team and our corporate Finance department.
Your expertise will ensure the financial integrity and success of our productions on the road.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the production team, including budgeting, forecasting, ledger management, and financial reporting.
* Perform invoice and expense reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
* Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for both the production team and corporate Finance team.
* Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and financial discipline on site.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial best practices are integrated into production planning and execution.
* Serve as the primary financial contact for the touring production, liaising with external vendors, stakeholders, and the corporate Finance team.
* Address and resolve any financial discrepancies or issues that arise during the tour.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and production efficiency.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification is a plus, but not required.
* Proven experience in a financial role, ideally within the entertainment industry or a related field.
Experience in a touring production environment is highly desirable, but again not required.
* Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and budget management.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Proficient in Xero and MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
* Willingness and ability to travel and work onsite in Macau, SAR.
* Fluent in English required; proficiency in Chinese a plus.
