Duties & Responsibilities
This role involves a diverse set of responsibilities, including administrative support, financial tasks, member relations, system management, event coordination and communication efforts.
The individual will work closely with the Controller, Membership Director and the Executive team to contribute to the overall success and growth of the club.
Administrative and Accounting Support:
Assist Controller in daily administrative and accounting tasks including, but not limited to: Bank Deposits, AP Invoicing, Data Entry, Fielding Calls, Welcoming Members, Email Correspondence and Monthly Statement Preparation.
Auditing and maintaining accounting and membership files regularly across multiple platforms.
Event Coordination and Communications:
Greet and converse with Members during events and provide handoff to management for executable goals.
Partner with Membership Director to maintain and update public and member websites.
Membership Development and Relations:
Assist Membership Director in managing strategic membership development programs designed to increase membership count and member retention.
Collaborate with Membership Director in developing and maintaining social media presence.
Partner with Membership Director in maintaining and updating club website.
Assist in the coordination of club events, including designing promotional materials, invitations, mailings and other publicity.
Partner with Executive Team to plan and distribute club communications to members via weekly newsletters and other communication channels.
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Team.
Skills | Knowledge | Experience
Organizational and meticulous regarding details.
Experience with social media platforms, namely Facebook and Instagram.
Experience working with computer software, including but not limited to: Office 365 program suite, CRMs, accounting software, Canva and point of sale systems.
Ability to maintain a calm and composed presence in an often fast- paced environment where multiple tasks, events and stimulus may occur simultaneously.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Confident under pressure and deadlines.
Ability and desire to learn new systems and grow personally and professionally under the guidance of the Bear Creek CC Family.
Team player who can step up to assist their teammates and other departments in times of need.
Private club experience recommended but not required
Compensation & Benefits
$18-23 per hour (DOE) with opportunity for occasional overtime
