Certified Medical Assistant

Description: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse or CMA to join one of our 7 locations throughout Puget Sound.

The physicians are affiliated with the UW School of Medicine and/or Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Our affiliate, the Seattle Allergy & Asthma Research Institute (formerly ASTHMA Inc), conducts human subject research studies that contribute to developing improved treatments for allergy and asthma sufferers.
This role will involve working with patients of all ages.
You will assist with rooming patients, collecting vitals, and performing point-of-care testing associated with asthma and allergy care, including skin prick (scratch) and intradermal testing, patch testing, administering vaccines and allergy shots and performing lung function testing (spirometry and FENO).
On-the-job training and education will be provided.
