North Seattle College is looking to hire a Program Assistant in the Math and Sciences Division.
*Salary Range for this position is $39,627 to $51,307 annually*.

* *Position Summary* Under the guidance of the Program Manager A, the Program Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Dean of Math & Science, organizing, and performing work related to the program operations of the division, and providing technical and clerical assistance to the students and faculty.
As the front-line person, the incumbent is expected to provide students and staff with timely, accurate, and reliable information regarding the activities related to Math & Science and the interpretation and application of department policies and procedures in a professional, collaborative, multi-cultural environment.
_This position is full-time, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during office hours.
_ _This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by WFSE and is subject to union shop provisions.

*What you will be working on:* * Interact with students, faculty, staff, and the public and provide information regarding division policies and activities * Compose correspondence and printed materials related to division policies, procedures, and operations; edit materials, including digital communications, for accuracy, appearance, readability, and style * Compile and distribute information relative to division activities, confer with other campus departments and outside agencies; serve as resource person for campus committees concerned with program operations; perform data entry, compile historical activity reports, and other materials in the functional area * Coordinate arrangements for program activities such as appointments, meetings, conferences, and banquets; attend meetings as requested * Establish and maintain records and files, including division directory, course syllabi, key requests, student course entry codes, faculty office hours, stipend payments, and travel documents * Perform complex word processing tasks such as merging and sorting, integrating text with graphics, creating spreadsheets and data base files, and running data base reports * Use spreadsheet and data base software to develop and maintain records * Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of division needs to include supporting faculty with textbook orders, office copiers, and facilities maintenance requests * May perform grant supported division activities to include budget tracking * May order, receive, and maintain inventory * May use desk top publishing software * May direct the work of others; Perform other duties as required.
