Unique position has become available in our office for an additional administrative assistant.
What makes this position unique? There is flexibility in your schedule once its set (hours and days of the week) however we are looking for someone permanent.
Responsibilities in this role will be shared by two other administrative staff members and will include: answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking emails and text messages, attending to recare-continuing care, insurance verification, processing referrals and x-rays to specialist, requesting records, updating website if necessary, billing questions, discussing pre-determinations.
Other administrative duties.
Eventually learning the more complicated claim submissions, collections and billing.
This is not an entry level position, having a deeper understanding of dentistry and dental administration is preferred.
Knowledge of Dentrix software system is a major perk.
A little about us: Our dentist has been in practice for over 34 years, and we all love working for her! Our associate dentist works 2 days a week and 2 Saturdays per month.
We have one expanded duty dental assistant, one registered dental assistant, 2 full time dental hygienist and 2 part time hygienist.
Some employees have been with us for nearly 30 years.
We have many wonderful patients, many of whom are 3rd generation.
