This role is primarily remote, but requires the employee to manage certain tasks in person once per week in Seattle, WA.

*Position Summary:* The Operations and Administrative Specialist is a key staff person responsible for facilitating smooth and efficient operations and providing excellent administrative support to our Executive team as well as supporting governance and finance.
Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to project coordination, executive scheduling, office management, board of directors’ support, administrative support, finance reporting, and customer service.
*Key Competencies* Strategic problem-solving, organization, analyzing work processes and outcomes, demonstrated follow-through and ability to work individually and as a team, within a fast-paced environment.
*Duties and Responsibilities:* 1.
Manage the implementation of the annual strategic plan tracker, including monitoring updates and follow-up with staff to complete activities.
2.
Coordinate with COO on compiling and analyzing program related-data to report to CEO and Board of Directors for planning and evaluation.
3.
Assist COO in the coordination of the annual review of the personnel policies and procedures.
4.
Manage and maintain onboarding of new staff.
5.
Lead annual staff training committee and develop calendar of offerings for staff.
6.
Provide coordination and development of Board of Directors’ meetings (including committee meetings) and deliverables, including developing and producing board packets, scheduling committee and taskforce meetings, governance documentation, and meeting minutes.
7.
Provide coordination of executive administrative support for the CEO, COO, and CFO, including scheduling, reports, calendar customer service, data entry and analysis, documentation and report creation, event and meeting support, etc.
8.
Create monthly finance program reports and other ad hoc reports as requested.
9.
General office support tasks such as mail management, preparing deposits and route financial information appropriately, coordination of staff appreciation efforts, and ordering of supplies.
10.
Maintain accurate documentation and records; support day-to-day tasks as directed.
11.
Perform all aspects of the position in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
12.
Report any known or suspected compliance issues to the NWRPCA compliance officer.
13.
Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
14.
Cross-train and provide back-up support with Program Support role on contracts and travel processes and other tasks as needed.

*Qualifications* _Required_ * High School Diploma and four years’ experience or equivalent.
* Understanding of managing complex projects.
* Self-motivated, flexible; Creative problem solver; Committed to social justice.
* Excellent language and communication skills, especially for creating written materials.
* Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, and social media sites.
Able to learn and proficiently use new programs quickly.
* Ability to work as a team member, work effectively with diverse people, and work independently.
* Demonstrate cultural competence.
* Ability to drive / travel to meetings in a variety of locations as needed _Preferred_ * Experience in community health or nonprofit associations.
* Bachelors/Advanced Degree or Equivalent.
*Physical Requirements:* 1.
Most time spent sitting, with up to one-third (1/3) of time walking or standing.
There are no restrictions on ability to interrupt periods of sitting.

Manual dexterity required for typing, filing, etc.
3.
Minimal lifting.
4.
Vision requirements as appropriate for working on a computer and with typed and handwritten materials.

Ability to drive / travel to meetings in a variety of locations as needed 6.
