The Dental Assistant program is seeking an adjunct faculty for both didactic and clinical coursework.
All didactic courses will be online and asynchronous.
All clinical labs will be held one to two days a week from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
A Procedural Showcase will be held every Friday with other members of the dental team in our own on-campus clinic.
Community externships will be prearranged.

This recruitment is to establish an applicant pool for future part-time faculty vacancies.
The college hires part-time faculty on a quarter by quarter basis, dependent on enrollment.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Identify individual learning needs of students and make appropriate adjustments Develop and teach to the objectives of the approved curriculum Develop and teach lessons which foster and support cultural diversity and non-discrimination Teach productive and constructive study skills to students Develop classroom and lab procedures in conformance with identified policies and procedures Maintain appropriate records which indicate student progress and meet college requirements Follow disciplinary procedures as prescribed and deal consistently and fairly with all students Design learning experiences for the unique characteristics of individual adult students through classes, individual instruction and self-directed learning Post the class syllabus and students' grades via the online course system (currently Canvas) SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Compensation Placement on the faculty salary schedule is based on an individual assessment of education and experience.
The salary for part time faculty contracts shall be based upon the number of credits assigned the faculty member, the type of class taught, and the rates contained in the part time faculty salary schedule currently in effect and labeled Appendix B.
