Contracts Negotiation Manager will manage (in conjunction with key internal partners) the negotiation, redlining and drafting, as well as facilitate the execution of complex and non-standard contracts, amendments, and renewals for the T-Mobile for Sales & Distribution organization to ensure they comply with business requirements as well as corporate policy.
Represents the organization as the principal customer-facing contact for contract negotiations.
Interacts with company sales management and customer procurement and legal personnel on contract matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.
Provides updates to management and sales on contracts and negotiations and advises sales of contractual eligibility, rights, and obligations in concert with senior managers and attorneys.
Assists in contract reviews as needed for individual customers and company-wide initiatives.
What you’ll do in your role.
Initial point of contact for all legal requests for T-Mobile for Business direct sales segments.
Support attorney and the legal team in reviewing all contract-related matters.
Serve as point of contact for contract-related matters for other internal stakeholders and other subject matter experts.
Assist attorney in managing contract caseload.
Maintain status and records for completed contracts and contracts that are in progress within the contract management system.
Generate appropriate reports regarding status of deals in progress.
Efficiently and accurately draft and produce legal documents; may negotiate routine or assigned agreements.
Stay informed about changes to relevant lines of products and solutions offered by the T-Mobile for Business sales channel to customers.
Establish strong working relationships with T-Mobile for Business internal sales teams, Legal teams, other internal stakeholders, subject matter experts and external customers.
The experience you’ll bring.
A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience contract negotiation experience (dealing with sales contracts preferred), senior paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house setting, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of technology-focused agreements (including in the following areas: intellectual property, privacy law, and mobility commercial provisions are pluses) Experienced in drafting, reviewing, and evaluating technology contracts.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, self-directed and motivated.
Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment.
Very strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working with a variety of professional styles and personalities under tight deadlines A healthy sense of humor Excellent oral and written communications skills Ability to demonstrate professional, appropriate responses in confidential situations.
Strong organizational skills that result in consistent volume and quality of output as well as the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously in a fast and demanding pace.
Ability to operate independently with limited attorney supervision.
Innovative, creative and proactive Excellent business judgment and a passion for achieving excellence.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, version control and compare and redlining documents (or other related tools) Solid project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Telecommunication industry experience a plus.
• At least 18 years of age • Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel: Travel Required (Yes/No):Yes Washington Pay Range : $104,300.
00 - $141,100.
00 The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed.
The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role.
Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
