Our law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team.
You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients.
You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date.

Compensation:
$125,000 - $140,000 yearly DOE
Responsibilities:
Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals
Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys
Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
Your daily tasks would vary and consist of all aspects of working cases in the litigation process from the filing of the Summons and Complaint to the completion of the settlement or verdict.
You must be able to work with others and enjoy leading.
You must be a kind and thoughtful person whom clients and coworkers can depend on.
Qualifications:
Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base
Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam
Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
Has a Juris Doctor (J.
D.
degree) from an accredited law school
We are looking for someone who knows personal injury law and has handled all aspects of the litigation process including discovery, depositions, arbitrations, motions, mediations, trials, etc.
This is Not the position for a first-year associate, out-of-state attorney, or person looking to change practice areas.
