This role will guide and support teams dedicated to engineering (hardware and software) and security of AWS infrastructure (e.
g.
, the technology that all AWS cloud services and customers rely upon).
Candidates should have experience advising business clients directly on ambiguous and/or complex legal matters and negotiating procurement and licensing agreements, ideally with some experience related to technology.
Over time you will learn about the business to understand and anticipate the key risks we face, partner with your clients to develop and execute appropriate mitigation strategies, and ultimately help chart long-term strategy for AWS infrastructure.
This Associate Corporate Counsel role can be based in Seattle or Santa Monica.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $105,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
