Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire an Administrative Practice Assistant to support the Litigation Practice Group.
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Administrative Practice Assistant will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support to our firm’s practice groups in an environment where superior client service is emphasized and practiced.
This position will reside in our Seattle, WA office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.
Key responsibilities of this position include: Maintaining case and client files including uploading electronic files to a document management system.
Processing new business intake and related forms.
Time entry, answering phones and taking messages, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings; arranging audio and video conferences.
Processing expense reports, check requests, scanning, copying, coordinating incoming/outgoing mail, faxes and emails, word processing, arranging travel and preparing travel itineraries.
Managing attorney calendars.
Provide legal research, case support and project assistance.
Filing and e-Filing of documents with various courts/agencies.
Developing and maintaining a system/process for tracking matters that require future attention.
Performing other relevant duties as directed.
Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of internship or professional experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional services industry experience a plus.
Must have strong ability to format documents in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated proficiency in iManage, Outlook, and ability to adapt to new software programs.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
Flexibility to work overtime is required.

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances.
Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package.
The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
