*Overview*
Blue Wave Political Partners, a political fundraising, compliance, and digital consulting firm based in Washington state, is seeking a Fundraising Associate to join our company based in the Seattle office for the 2024 election cycle.
This is a great opportunity for those wishing to gain experience in progressive political campaigns, work for candidates that will make real change, and build a professional network.
The scope of work includes working at all levels of campaign fundraising, focusing on fundraising call time with candidates, staffing events, and working on fundraising messaging for campaigns.
We believe that political campaigns have traditionally excluded many of those that are the most marginalized in society, including BIPOC, women, LGBTQ people, and people who have faced historical and structural barriers.

*Responsibilities *
* Assists with call time staffing and preparation, event staffing, assisting in drafting emails, follow up emails, and other related fundraising activities.
* Effectively convey the company’s mission, vision, and programs to potential donors.
* Research individuals, corporations, and foundations that are interested in gift giving
* Maintain accurate records, donations, current contact info, and RSVPs in donor database, including data entry, running reports, and updating donor records.
* Assist with preparation, staffing and day-of event activities, along with follow-up needed to thank, and maintain accurate records, history and tracking
* Run, print, and send thank you letters to all donors in a timely manner
* Provide administrative support to director and manager, including responding to general inquiries received through emails, letters, and phone calls
* Basic data entry/management, including donor research, call time results importing & exporting
* Communication with campaign including answering questions, coordination with finance staff for source codes and required donor information
* Report daily and weekly on fundraising goals, strategy, and developments to fundraising lead
* Other responsibilities as assigned
*Skills*
* Intermediate proficiencies of NGP (or other database software), Microsoft Word, ActBlue, Google Docs, and other fundraising related software preferred
* Ability to demonstrate a level of knowledge of campaign finance regulations for various types of clients and can respond to most real or perceived fundraising issues with little oversight
* Ability to establish and maintain a positive working relationship with other Blue Wave staff, campaign staff, consultants, and vendors with a high standard of professionalism
* Ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines and maintain and manage highly confidential or sensitive information
*Hiring Level:* $4,000/month
*Salary Range:* $48,000 - $54,000/year

*Experience:* Some prior experience on a political campaign is preferred
