This Product managers will be responsible for driving optimization efforts across various organizations and processes to improve shipping costs at Amazon.
This includes defining the right set of metrics and processes, establishing aggressive goals and driving towards them, working with technology and operations partners to design, develop and deploy intelligent processes and improvements.
The right candidate will act as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) and develop a deep understanding of inputs that drive ship costs at Amazon.
This candidate will engage with leaders across various teams and business units (Supply Chain Technology, Operations, Transportation, etc.
) to identify the right opportunities and then champion initiatives to drive improvement.
The right candidate will be an expert in supply chain, a track record of leading/driving initiatives, will have a deeply analytical mindset and a high level of EQ to influence partner teams.
Key job responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for owning one or more pillars of the Ship Cost Optimization team and will develop, execute strategies for that pillar to drive cost savings.
The candidate will dive deep on underlying factors, systems, processes to develop a viewpoint on level of efficiency of the existing process and will come with plans to further optimize that.
In doing so that candidate will interface with multiple stakeholders, evaluate speed to market, technical consideration and any tradeoffs that need to be made to prioritize and execute on the strategies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company.
