The Associate Director of the Ph.
D.
in Law Program and Director of the Visiting Scholars Program is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the successful administration of the Ph.
D.
in Law Program and managing the Visiting Scholars Program.
This position will be expected to use strong organizational and interpersonal skills to promote a diverse and inclusive academic environment.
This position will teach Law B557 Graduate Writing Seminar, Law B554 Research Tutorial, Law E512 Rule of Law Seminar, and other doctrinal or experiential courses of interest to Ph.
D.
students and Visiting Scholars.
This is a non-tenure full-time, 9-month position - September through June of every academic year.
It's promotion-eligible through the teaching-professorial track.
The anticipated start date is September 2024.
The base salary range for this position will be $10,000 - $11,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.
S.
Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
All UW faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.

Qualifications · Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) or foreign equivalent and 3 or more years of related legal practice.
· Admission to a state bar.
· Demonstrated expertise working with graduate students.
